PRECAUTIONS WHEN PMS/CSS EXAMS ARE AROUND THE CORNER

Since everyone knows this fact exams are approaching and we are feeling down with fear and hallucinations that we might couldn’t be able to do it. The reality is every to and fro have this fear and it’s REAL, even those passed were not sure they could make it so. Not even toppers were immune from this fear. One thing you must know , competitive exams are exams of nerves and it’s part of evaluation how you are going to perform in the moment of distress and uncertainty. Never mind you are not alone in this, every aspirant is sailing in the same boat. Now, let’s come to terms and promise your self you are going to outperform from others beyond your imagination. 

DIRECTION IS SO MUCH IMPORTANT EVEN MORE THAN SPEED

Here are few top notch ideas which you must consider while giving final shoot. 

1. Start practice test and revision instead of learning and trying to retain new knowledge in short span of time.
2. Make mind maps from the topics of past papers instead of making plain revision. It would serve as multi pronged strategy. I.e. revision of previous content, warm up exercise to prepare you for final exams , and summary in form of short notes. 
3. One pager would be helpful for the most important content. 
4. Start revision of one optional and one compulsory subject at the same time. 
5. Stop following newspapers and other material for current affairs since after December chances are your exam has been finalised already, instead focus on the content between June till December and follow it rigorously.
6. Make list of pending topics which you are still unable to cover and watch lectures on YouTube and make summary of it. Since, something is better than nothing. 
7. Those parts which are hard must be cover first in the most productive time after finding out if you are morning person or night owl. 
8. Evaluation is key , if you know senior get them on board and get detailed feedback, only from those who could be able to give you timely feedback not one already occupied with some stuff , YOU MUST BE THE PRIORITY FOR THEM IN THIS CRITICAL TIME. 
9. Jot down important quotations and citations in form of statistics and facts in order to revise it daily in the last 10 days. (If you are not sure which topics are important to collect facts and quotations, let me know I will do this deed for you people.) 
10. As far as numerical questions are concerned, instead of focusing on revising verbally, get your hands on actually solving it not in complete format but sort of checking your calculations and revert back to those topics which are hard to revise and watch their lectures again to get fresh content) 

Final shot : excess of everything is fatal. Make it easy for yourself and stick to past paper and to the most important topics as per 80 and 20 principles. Don’t relay on others notes. Do major reading and get points from their easily. Make it as simple as you can and that’s where the beauty of success lies. Your brain needs some fresh air and relaxation HAVE MERCY ON YOURSELF AND DON’T GET HARD ON YOURSELF.
